Graduated OSU MS Nuclear engineering - 1988
Started work as a radiological engineer doing shielding calculations and design of new nuclear facilities at the Savannah River Site. Eventually, I worked my way up the food chain to be a Facility Manager of Radiological Operations in a plutonium stabilization facility. I left Savannah River Site in 2005, and ended up, of all things, teaching high school science, specifically chemistry, physics, and AP physics.
My four years at Miami were terrific. All of my Miami Physics professors were exceptional teachers. I can't imagine a better place to go to college. Read More »
