Every other Jewish mother in Brooklyn would ask her child, 'So? Did you learn anything today?' But not my mother. 'Izzy,' she would say, 'did you ask a good question today?' Asking good questions made me become a scientist.

Course Registration Issues and Answers

PHY171 and PHY181 have co-requisite labs. For Fall 2014, sign up for the section of PHY173 or PHY183 with the same section letter as your class section. For example, PHY181C and PHY183C go together. Class and lab will be taught concurrently.

PHY182 has a co-requisite lab that meets separately. Select a section of PHY184 that best fits your schedule. Follow the instructions below to register for co-requisites.

Steps for Registration for courses with co-requisites:

  1. DO NOT enter a course number or CRN.
  2. Instead, search PHY and your campus to open ALL of the Physics Courses.
  3. Check the boxes on the left for your desired class and lab section.
  4. At the bottom of the page, click Register.

Course Restrictions and Co-requisites are not visible in Bannerweb To see course restrictions, go to Course List at MyMiami.
